Glacier Trail provides guided wilderness expeditions and outdoor recreation services. All activities involve inherent risks associated with backcountry environments.
Expedition bookings require advance notice as specified in service descriptions. Cancellations made more than 72 hours before departure receive full refunds. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable due to guide scheduling commitments.
Participants must accurately disclose fitness levels and medical conditions that could affect safe participation. Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in expedition termination without refund.
Guides maintain authority to modify routes or cancel expeditions due to weather conditions, wildlife activity, or safety concerns. Such changes do not constitute breach of contract. Alternative dates or full refunds will be offered.
Wilderness activities involve risks including but not limited to injury from falls, wildlife encounters, weather exposure, and equipment failure. Participants acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for their own safety within the context of guided instruction.
Glacier Trail maintains liability insurance for guide negligence. We are not liable for injuries resulting from participant actions contrary to safety instructions or from circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Expedition photographs may be used for marketing purposes unless participants explicitly opt out before departure. No compensation is provided for image usage.
All website content, including text, images, and design elements, remains the property of Glacier Trail. Reproduction without permission is prohibited.
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in provincial courts located in Banff.
We reserve the right to update these terms. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance.
